CEDR
MEMBER AREA

The main objective of CEDR's Working Group Digital Road Management (DRM) is to raise awareness and develop and share knowledge among European NRAs on the implications of DRM on:

  • transport policy goals, societal acceptance and human behaviour,
  • physical and digital infrastructure and investment needs,
  • traffic flow, traffic management and business models, and
  • regulation, harmonisation and standardisation needs.

Sub-groups:

The aim of this programme is to prepare the European NRAs on future challenges of connectivity, digitalisation and automation to get to an autonomously well-managed traffic flow.

The aim of this programme is to provide European NRAs with a certain level of confidence in approaching the era of digitalisation, where collecting, managing and sharing the data becomes vital to improve the safety, efficiency and sustainability of road transport.
