CEDR participated in Digital Transport Days (DTT) which were held from 7 to 9 October in Helsinki, Finland. The main focus of DTT was to enable policies in the fields of data sharing, automation and customer-oriented services, and explore the potential for reducing our footprint on the planet.
CEDR’s Secretary General, Mr Steve Phillips moderated a session entitled ”NRAs and digital (road) infrastructure for future mobility”. which took place on day 3 (9 October) of DTT.
The session brought together different actors from road transport – private, public, physical and digital. The opportunities and challenges of digitalisation and the consequences for the roles of (digital and physical) infrastructure managers were addressed.
A summary of the main outcomes from CEDR’s session at Digital Transport Days 2019 can be found here.
