The European Commission is launching this consultation to collect the views of stakeholders and citizens with regard to the policy options to reduce microplastics entering the marine environment. Main sources of microplastics are reported to include tyre dust and road paint. Members of CEDR’s Water Quality PEB and Environment WG are following the associated stakeholder consultation.

The Governing Board has approved CEDR 2017-03 in which the latest research in the areas of noise reducing pavements, noise barriers, and cost-benefit analysis (CBA)/cost-effectiveness analysis (CEA) was comprehensively reviewed and assessed by CEDR Task Group I6 (Road Noise).
