The Hungarian Public Road Nonprofit Company performs maintenance and operation functions of almost 32 000 km of the national road network it manages. The aim and task of the road maintenance activities is to ensure smooth mobility for all road users in Hungary. The organization covers activities carried out by the national road network including maintenance works as well. The company’s scope includes the issuing of route permits for oversize vehicles, the road sub-sector management training experts, and traffic information.
