The INFRAVATION Kick Off Meeting took place on November 12-13 at the Diamant Centre, Brussels. Pieter De Winne, Chair of TG Research, addressed the event and drew attention to the synergies between INFRAVATION and the CEDR Transnational Research Programme. The first day of the event concluded with a CEDR-sponsored reception.

Infravation brings together funding from the Netherlands, Denmark, France, Germany, Iceland, Israel, Italy, Norway, Spain, Sweden, USA and the EU into one common transnational Call framework, in order to fund joint research projects. Its objective is to enable a high quality infrastructure offering high service levels to the user/economy/society through solutions for both new and existing infrastructure. For this Call, the available budget for co-financing is 9 million euros.
CEDR will enable dissemination of INFRAVATION project results to the road infrastructure community at large together in coordination of the results of the CEDR Transnational Research Programme.
